Centre Parcs...

The hubs and I went with (nearly) all of my family, at the beginning of the new year, to Centre Parcs in Sherwood Forest, Nottingham. We had such a great time and it was good to all be together, have the nephews and my little all together and start the new year in a healthy and active way! (Nothing makes you eat less at Christmas than the thought you will have to be in swimwear a few days later)!

We were staying right by the main drag so we didn't need to rent bikes, but we had a great time swimming and water sliding, peppermint hot chocolate drinking, following trails and walks, playing at the park, snookering, mini-golfing and lots of Settlers of Catan-ing. (I have such a love hate relationship with that game, it can be so infuriating. I do recommend it though).
